Since I picked up Economics in JC, I have always loved the subject. I know, however, that not every student falls in love with it at first sight. Many students—and perhaps you too—find it challenging, even burdensome at times. But here’s the truth: doing well in Economics isn’t just important for your education; it’s a skill that will serve you for life. Hang in there! Economics is fun—you just haven’t discovered it for yourself yet, and that’s where I come in.
I began teaching Economics during my undergraduate days, and over the years, I have accumulated extensive experience preparing students for the GCE A-Level examinations. I’ve met countless students and understand the pressures of modern academic life: jam-packed schedules, fast-paced lessons, and high expectations. It’s no wonder that students sometimes struggle to perform at their best.
I firmly believe that a teacher’s ultimate goal is to make themselves progressively unnecessary. My aim is to help each student become independent, confident, and capable by the time they leave my centre. That said, I am proud to say that many of my students continue to stay in touch as friends long after their exams!
Let me help you digest complex Economics concepts quickly and effectively. Time is of the essence when preparing for a high-stakes exam like the A-Levels—and in fact, time passes faster than you think. Let’s make every lesson count. Find out more, and I’ll see you in class!
